Wood Collage Series
I started this series as a way to work intuitively and have fun. The only plan is to use a piece of found metal or an object as a jumping off point. I have always worked in "mad scientist" mode, most interested in materials and processes. I paint wood, metal and other materials, then chop them up with various saws. This gives me interesting pieces I can then screw back together as a three dimensional collage.
This series will be shown in Brazen Spirit, with Sherry Tamburo in Coolspace at ArtSpace beginning April 14, 2022.
